Last night, Mike and I pitched up at the annual Sparkies Awards in Bath to catch up with other tech companies in the area. We had also been nominated for the Sparkies People’s Choice award – an award reserved for the best tech company in the South West and determined by the votes of the local tech community.
And we won.
It was a complete surprise, and very humbling.
I love the company that we have built. The team are exceptional; hard working, dedicated and just wonderful people to be around. And the work we do is helping our customers in the NHS help those struggling with mental illness, which is what motivates us to work even harder.
I know that the company we have built is special, but it was a surprise to me and to the rest of the team to see that acknowledged from our peers.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to say how grateful we are to work in a place with such a thriving local tech community. It was an honour just to be sharing the finalist stage with you.
